Garden Drop-In

Garden
Drop-In

We invite you to our weekly Wednesday Garden Drop-In, a dedicated space for connection, hands-on learning, and community nourishment.

The Garden Drop-In is a dedicated time to intentionally practice and access food sovereignty. This means engaging in every part of the food system, from tending the soil to sharing the harvest, grounding ourselves in the relationship

Every Wednesday from 12:00 AM to 5:00 PM, we gather to tend to the land, share knowledge, and enjoy a communal meal. Whether you can join us for the entire day or just drop in for a few hours, your presence and contributions are deeply valued.

Wednesday
Garden Schedule:

Morning Stewardship

We start with a comprehensive walkthrough of the garden to assess the needs of the plants and the soil. This walkthrough is followed by cleaning tasks and collaborative meal planning, where we decide how to utilize the day's harvest.

Afternoon Session

We gather in a grounding circle to do personal check-ins, allowing everyone to share how they are arriving. Following this grounding circle, we host knowledge-sharing sessions or group activities. These interactive sessions provide opportunities to learn new agricultural skills, share traditional ecological knowledge, or collaborate on specialized group projects.

Communal Nourishment & Gratitude

The highlight of our evening is the shared meal, hosted by our kitchen team. This meal is prepared using fresh ingredients harvested directly from our garden.

Before we eat, we gather to share formal food and land acknowledgments, expressing our deep gratitude to the Indigenous caretakers of this land and to the earth for providing our sustenance. After sharing this meal, we work together to wash dishes and clean up the space, followed by a relaxed period of socializing to close out our day.
